NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of travelers from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This is a four percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This is an increase of 13% over 2019.

Canada is also on track, just as the United States, to surpass the amount of tourists that visit Israel. In July 2022 Canada saw 7,200 tourists and August witnessed the number increase to 6,000.
